Discus

Discus fish (Symphysodon spp.) are freshwater cichlids native to the Amazon Basin in South America, known for their laterally compressed, disc-shaped bodies and vibrant colors, including shades of green, red, brown, and blue. They naturally inhabit slow-moving waters with submerged roots and branches, providing them shelter and a stable environment. These social fish thrive in groups, exhibiting complex behaviors and a well-defined hierarchy. Well-planted environment to mimic their natural habitat. Due to their specific care needs, they are best suited for experienced aquarists who can maintain optimal water quality and tank conditions.
